Anders' Water Melon Salad

Water Melon Salad Anders Way


This is a wonderful and very refreshing salad. This water melon salad is really a meal on its own or you can serve it in smaller portions as a side salad.

Ingredients:
  • ¼ water melon, cut into cubes
  • 2 sliced avocado (dipped into lemon juice so it does not turn brown)
  • 500 grams of chopped cooked (crisp) bacon
  • 200-300 grams of toasted sun flower seeds (you can toast them yourself)
  • Thick balsamic vinegar
  • 300-400 grams of feta cheese
You have to adjust the ingredients to the size of your salad bowl. Layer the ingredients starting with the melon in the bottom, then avocado, bacon, sunflower seeds, sprinkle the balsamic vinegar and top with feta. Dig to the bottom of the bowl when serving.
