How to Make Anders' Pesto Sauce
|Pesto Ingredients, Basil, Garlic, Pine Nuts and Parmigiano Cheese.|
Once you have made your own home made pesto, you will not settle for anything else.
Use this tossed on your pasta, on crackers, or on your home made pizza or ... well you pick.
Ingredients are as follows:
- 3 handfuls of fresh Basil (wash gently if dirty)
- 3 cloves of Garlic (pealed)
- 1 tsp of sea salt
- 1/2 cup of grated fresh Parmesan Cheese
- 1/2 cup of pine nuts
- 4 tbs of Olive Oil (use cold pressed, the best you can afford to buy)
Add the rest of the ingredients and continue mashing or grinding it up to a sauce.
To make thigs a bit easier I use a Zylizz cheese grater to grate the pine nuts and the cheese.
That's it. Keep refreigerated.
